7 months old on new years eve.
I’ve read about some mummies who have difficulties trying to introduce solids to their baby. Alhamdulilah, yang ini plak, semua dia sebat. She’s got good appetite.
She learned to sit on her own about a week ago.
Initially we noticed she would stretch her legs to the side and sit “mermaid” style. Then we saw her struggling to duduk seliput.
The next day she managed to move her legs to the front but since she wasn’t stable, she fell backwards hitting her head first a couple of times and followed by her wailing. Then us consoling her. So we had to put a pillow behind her.
Right now she can sit on her own, without us worrying too much.
At times Mister and I would put her on the mat, let her have some playtime on her own where we place a couple of toys for her (we alternate her toys just to keep it interesting)… and then we hear her babble. Hahahaha…. Berbual sungguh-sungguh.
This was she communicating with Yokie. She gets excited when she sees the cats walk past.
The cats now know better, when Arissa starts reaching out for them, they walk away. Sebelom fur kena cabut, deorang jalan dulu. At the moment, Arissa don’t understand that in her excitement to play with them, she’s actually very kasar. The cats seems to be very understanding though, and I’m thankful for that
Ada skali, (and yes, this happened just after I snap the above pic) Arissa grabbed Yokie’s fur, terpekik aku skejap. Frantically trying to get her to let loose her grip. In my mind at that moment, I was like, “Ini kalau Yokie cekau, dengan aku, aku skali kena”. To my surprise, Yokie didn’t. NASIB.
Yokie just bolt away as soon as I managed to let her go. Betol ar Yokie ni, hati sungguh mulia… Hahahahaahahah…
Arissa probably wondering, why Yokie is going away…. BECAUSE you pulled her fur my dear…
In time Insyallah. They will be best of friends. All 3 kitties.
