It’s the last day of our trip, before we’re back to reality. The good thing is, all three of us will be working the next day. Fair ar. Jadi takde la jealous with each other… hehehe…
Started our day later than the previous days. Since we have almost exhausted our money, we decided only to have brunch, no shopping. Fullstop.
Packed our bags, check-out and left our bags at the front desk to be collected when we get back from brunch later.
There were a lot more pushcarts as we walked by the same area we have been passing through the past few days. It seems these pushcarts are only available on weekdays for the working crowd.
We came across a pushcarts selling fresh vegetables…
But this, we simply had to stopped, jadi Ina balik SG tak kempunan~
I think the lady steamed these corn without adding butter or anything. It just tastes sweet and delicious on its own. No wonder Ina has been wanting to buy corn since the day we were in BKK. Its 15 baht per corn by the way. Approx ~ 60cents..
Suka Ina, finally dapat steamed corn!
You can ask the lady to cut out the corn, jadi makan pat tengah-tengah jalan tu tak la selekeh~ She’ll put it inside a plastic bag with a plastic spoon.
Almost wanted to eat at the restaurant we went on our first day for dinner but decided to go to the one beside it instead. Nefertiti Restaurant…
What Ina and I had, Chicken in Curry Rice, with my mixed fruit juice. Top was strawberries at the bottom, mango…
Pi-ee’s Tomato rice with chicken…
Looks almost the same right? Look at the meat, then you can tell that its two different dishes. Mine was more to roasted, Pi-ee nyer is fried chicken.
Went back to our hotel to collect our bags, Pi-ee took a photo with his favourite door man. Si Boonsong ni, very friendly & helpful.
Hang around at Baskin Robbins this time when we reach airport and had ampleeeeee time to spare.
The flight was delayed for 15 mins when we were already at the airport so freaking early. We checked-in the minute we could and walk around the transit area…
K, so aku cut short story tros to the boarding plane part la eh.
Our flight back wasn’t as pleasant as we had hoped for, we were given seats directly in front of this malay family. Aku estimate the whole family dalam lima-belas orang gitu, give and take…
Anyway, the 3 of us were carrying a backpack each and Pi-ee was holding onto 1 more bag. When we reached our allocated seats, the hand luggage compartment above us were already stuffed with this malay family stuffs. According to Pi-ee, deorang letak pon sembarang and the stuffs on top bangsa barang kecik-kecik yg baru beli pat DFS gitu, yang bleh pangku. So Pi-ee spoke nicely to one of the family member, this guy sitting directly behind me, “Bro, barang kecik2 bleh tak angkat, taruk pat bawah?”
Si dekni ok ar (walaupon arranging skills dia sucks), tapi boleh di bawak negotiate ar. Dia like “Ok Ok”, quickly got up from his seat to bring out the smaller stuffs.
Tapi dia nyer family member pat belakang semua belen-belen ar. Step nak tolong tapi they sounded defensive, “Bawak turun ar… Letak blakang…”
K tu takpe. Skali kejap lagi, this pompan, aku tak tahu ni kakak or minah dia, baru got into the plane nampak mamat ni holding on to some stuffs and from far… still walking on the aisle eh, was like “Apsal kau pegang barang tu? Kita ENTITLED to space for our bags!”
The guy, who was trying not to create so much commotion just said “Dah takde tempat la”…
Then she was like “I don’t care… I need space for my bag!” So the guy, got up again and arranged their side of the compartment, again, to put her stuffs.
I means seriously, even after deorang bawak turun some stuffs, we could only put my bag and then Ina’s bag on top of mine. Not even side by side eh…. Thanks to their bags! Pi-ee had to hug his bagpack and the other bag in between his legs. So I don’t see why the girl had to make so much fuss as if we asked them to remove their stuffs just to put our bags. Kita pon takde tempat, PASAL BARANG KORANG DAH PAT SITU….! BENGAP….!
But we just kept quiet and waited for the flight attendants to help find a space for us to put the bags at any empty slots…
Sedangkan the steward made an announcement something like, “We know you just came back from a shopping paradise, please put all smaller bags in front of your seats so that others can put their bags, otherwise we cannot start moving until all compartments are closed”.
Aku don’t know how she got her bag settled, but I’m assuming she selit-selit with their other family members nyer space. While Pi-ee’s bag bersepah. Satu pat sana, satu pat sini… Separated.
But yet, during the flight journey, she kept repeating, nagging to the guy and also sengaja bual kuat-kuat so kita pat depan bleh dengar…. “Next time people ask you to bring down your stuffs, don’t bring down. We are ENTITLED!!”
K citer pasal ni family jer bleh buat my heart boil all over again siol!
Ini melayu eh bangsa beli barang nak dirt cheap prices, tapi barang mesti top notch. Expect first class service. What the hell kau talking about entitlement siak? Kalau nak entitlement gi la book SIA.
You’re in budget flight la siak!! Perangai buat perangai budget ar.
Tak mu step mana nyer nak berbual English la kalau kau kolot… Bodoh nak mamps!
Kalau nak sindir, tak yah bual English, Melayu pon kita faham…
Also during the journey they were talking about those big shots airline la. Bual WORLD gitu.
Aku ngan Ina tengok each other… *rolls eyes*
When we finally touched down, we decided to wait for the rest to get off first since Pi-ee nyer bags were separated at the back. Orang lain yang blakang semua dah keluar, family dia dari tadi tak habis-habis turunkan bag, blocking the aisle. So us, being the superrrrr penyabar melayu waited for them to settle their kecohness and to finally get off the plane one by one.
To top it off, aku decided to count secretly in my head, how many bags each of them were carrying.
Check-check, when the minah passed by us, dia bawak 1 pull luggage, two medium sized hand carry bags and her handbag… and then almost every one of them were carrying 2-4 bags each!!!
Kau bilang aku macam mana tak cukup tempat???!!!
Kau nak bual pasal entitlement?? ??
Kau lokek nak mampus bag tak nak check-in, pasal tak nak bayar kan? Itu pull luggage terang-terang bleh check-in……….!!!!!
Si Pi-ee cakap ngan aku, “Lain kali tak bleh balik on Mon ar mcm gini”, to which I disagree.
Aku cakap, takde kena menggena nyer ngan Monday ke Tuesday. It’s just the people whom you happen to be traveling with. Kalau kau with this kind of passengers. Yang cheapskate and expect entitlement, any other day pon kau will face with the same prob….
Tak btol aku cakap?????
If you ask me, tak serik naik budget flight?
My reply, Of COZ NOT… Yang perangai bukannyer airplane tu, but the passengers…
So that’s it. That’s about all sums up my trip, the highs and the lows but mostly highs la… Thanks to the both of them for the great company.
