It took us 4 hours to walk back and fro in the tropical heat……
That 4 hours walk included a stop for lunch, stopped by a tour agency (booked the Simon Cabaret show and transport to Krabi the next day), foot massage break and more. Achievement!
In Phuket, I can safely say that you won’t have a problem finding a tour agency. Its practically within reach whichever way you go, at every corner, on every street and its open till late night. So this was the one we booked at.
Its was Mister who decided to book here, his reason?
“Oh because the agency got their own kiosk, look more established and let’s masuk aircon”……………….. Wokies~
We walked towards Phra Barami Road where the mosque is.
Stretch of halal stalls, for Muslims. I think its good if you book your hotel around this area. Although its a bit of a walk if you want to go to the Jungceylon mall etc where the action is… I heard from a friend of mine who stayed at Phra Barami Road area that she took a cab to Jungceylon. So you might want to consider the pros and cons alright….
Short dessert stop where we ate what look like chendol but not entirely like it.
Making ourselves comfortable, with the standing fan blowing directly at us.
Can’t recall the name. Tooo sweeet is all I can say.
Frozinity – Yoghurt stop… Superrrrr cheap yo!
We stopped for a foot massage after our 4 hours walk…
We bought some munchies to eat by the pool…
Fried chicken, kebabs and smoothie.
To end our last night at Phuket, we went for the Simon Cabaret Show.
If you read online, its touted as the ‘must go’ shows in Phuket for their lady boys and over the top costumes. Basically for the whole two hours they were lip syncing to songs from English to Chinese to Indian etc.
But really, in my opinion it was a disappointment. The performance was nothing to rave about. Their lip syncing were terrible. I mean, I’m sitting quite a no of rows away from the stage and I can clearly seeeee their out of synce. That should give you the idea of how terrible that was.
And the end of the show the dancers were lined up outside to get people to take picture with them. You’d need to pay them tho. We didn’t.
Just a few snaps of them before we were on our way back to the hotel.
Pardon the shaky photos.
Would I recommned? NO. You’re better of watching other shows that they have in Phuket.
Stay tuned for Day III to Krabi…
