In the family, it was, and still is, dad who makes sure we bring our meds and some ointment whenever we go for holidays (me and the siblings have a history of asthma). So when I got married, and see that the little emergency kit wasn’t in Mister’s item “to-bring-list”. I was like … WHAT??? Terkejot mak….
I realised then that not everybody practice this. True fact…
So now I have taken upon myself like how dad has always been doing for the family.
Over the years, I have come up with my own list of items for my emergency. Of course this list is not exhaustive and might be different for one person to another.
Considering we never know when we’ll need it and we won’t know where’s the nearest clinic or pharmacy at the place we’ll be visiting, as a concern and caring traveler *cough* I strongly recommend you to come up with your own emergency kit! Just my two cents.
Let me show you, a couple of my must bring, important items…
Motion sickness tablets (if you intend to take ferry or activities that might have a need for these)
Cough syrup? Yes and No.
For someone like me, when I start coughing, I can literally cough the WHOLE night long.
I would recommend cough syrups, but cough syrup is a tiny bit bulky plus its in liquid form so kind of quite leceh if you want to hand carry. *For the big bottle, might even kena throw away*
So if you need it at all, just grab it at the local supermarket where you’ll be heading to. Shouldn’t be too hard to find.
Now dump everything in a zip-lock bag, and you’re good to go!
